Casa da Calma is prepared do receive up to six hosts in its two bedrooms and couch. It has two bathrooms.
Casa da Calma is our home by the sea, it's not just a rental house. Our soul, our objects, are there. The tea, coffee and spices and olive oil in the kitchen are also to be shared.
We are still working in the garden, looking for the best and most ecological solution.

Five minutes away from the beach and from the center of Porto Covo, Casa da Calma enjoys a unique location.
The nearest one is Praia do Banho. Leave the house by the sea side, go down to the path and turn left. At low tide you can reach the beach below the house.
To Praia do Espingardeiro and Praia grande, turn right.

São Torpes and Aivados are nice spots for surfing. Several schools and surf rental places.
Rota Vicentina’s network of walking trails has gradually evolved, spreading today throughout this magnificent region of the Alentejo and Vicentina Coast. While the coastal trails are truly breathtaking, so are the many paths that extend through fields and mountain ranges further into the interior, areas that have been overlooked by tourism for a long time but that nonetheless deserve to be appreciated by hikers.
The Historical Way e the Fishermen’s Trail and the Circular Routes, offer an increasingly complete network of trails, with greater variety and flexibility, to be adjusted to the needs and expectations of all different types of hikers.
The experienced hiker who goes from north to south without hesitation, the family that adjusts to the rhythm of the children, the curious hikers and those who might just be finding their feet will find many different possibilities for combining these trails to create the routes that best suit them.
